June 22-27
Typically our last week in the classroom would be full of fun, outdoor activities and games! It looks like it might rain this week, but I'm hoping you can find some time this week to re-visit some of our previous outdoor fun activities!
Sidewalk chalk math: write numbers on your driveway and have a parent call out a simple addition or subtraction equation, throw a wet sponge at the correct answer (Warning- you might get wet!)
Skip-counting hopscotch
Can you build an obstacle course? Or a fort? Maybe a nature scavenger hunt? How many sticks/stones can you find? Can you group small items into 2s, 5s, and 10s and skip count? Arrange your small items into simple math equations (example: 12 stones + 10 stones = how many stones altogether?)
Rainy day activities: Continue working on Prodigy, or Splashlearn, or any other app or activity you prefer to practice and review Math skills. Do you still have your clocks or fraction book? Maybe revisit those, if you'd like. Or print some worksheets from the website.
If there is something particular you feel like you need to work on please let me know and I'm happy to provide some helpful activities!
